Quarantine
For a hundred Years the massive steel dome has sat on the land. An eyesore against the gorgeous snow laden landscape. What lies within it long forgotten by the present generation, the previous not wanting to speak of it.
But one day the massive doors of the dome slowly creek open as it takes in the first breath of fresh air in a century. Quickly rumors spread across the land that somewhere in the dome is a treasure. Some say it is a mountain of gold others believe it an artifact of terrible destructive power. Whatever it may be people from across the land and beyond flock to the dome in hopes of their dreams of wealth and power finally coming to pass.
They enter alone and in groups but no matter how many enter none ever leave. The last that is ever heard of them are their screams of terror and agony. Soon the people give up hope of ever making it far enough in to the dome to find the bounty. Again it has fallen into myth, the treasure of the dome, and only the mightiest and bravest dare enter to seek wealth, power and glory. Someone will get the treasure, but only the one who proves most worthy of possessing it.

raised a girl
i was raised a girl by well-meaning generations and wounded dreamers. i was raised a girl by inevitable justifications and greedy schemers. i was raised a girl always too good a student for my own good— so i smile in the face of anger remain patient as if my life depended on it; so i listen to all sides and hide my unease when none listen to me; so i give because i have so much and never ask because i need nothing more. if i want more i couldn't say, so instead of demanding change i find it's easier to leave, leaving wounds that harden into ever thickening skin. i was raised a girl: my girl skin now so thick i can postpone feeling anything. now, i’m no girl. all of this is just an ingrained, stubborn stain that may fade but never go away, like a bloody heart on my sleeve. no, i'm no girl, but somewhere deep within me is a cell with a child inside who, when I open her cage, looks up at me and smiles bravely; yet somehow I know that when I close that door again she’ll

An ephemeral decoration, Admired and then discarded. So sleep long beautiful rose, Let time's incessant beating, Slow down to a standstill. I will wait your unfolding At the other side of forever.

Oh yes, I have an idea for a tournament. This is all I'm
going to reveal of the setting and story for now but the
name might give some away.
to keep things interesting it will be a two on two style.
I'm still figuring out exactley how this will work but I have
ideas. I also have no idea how to host a tournament so it
will be a while before this really gets going.
Questions, ideas and advice will be a great help in
getting this up and running sooner.
